  • Work directly on high profile ministerial priorities that will shape the future of the governments digital workplace.
  • Collaborate with commercial and technical experts in government to design coherent strategy for End User Device provision across the UK Public Sector, balancing value for money with sustainability and digital employee experience.
  • Stay ahead of emerging device trends (e.g. ARM-based laptops, hybrid working solutions, cloud PCs) and assess their impact on our digital workplace.
  • Define and evolve our standards for end user devices, software provisioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of device deployment models for a wide variety of organisations.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, system integrators, and managed service providers to deliver scalable EUC solutions.
  • Focus on enabling a consistent, secure, and performant end user experience across device types and personas across the public sector.
  • Support the integration of digital workplace tools such as collaboration platforms (e.g. M365, Teams) and endpoint management (e.g. Intune, Autopilot).
  • Contribute to policies, best practices, and service improvement plans.

  • You're a passionate and forward-thinking end user computing expert with a strong grasp of how workplace technologies are evolving.
  • You understand how digital employee experience and device strategy are critical to enabling productivity in a modern, hybrid workplace.
  • You bring both strategic insight and hands-on technical knowledge, and you're comfortable working across business, IT, and vendor landscapes.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in designing, delivering, and managing end user compute services in a large enterprise environment.
  • Deep understanding of device lifecycle management, endpoint architecture, and software distribution.
  • Knowledge of emerging EUC trends including Windows 365, cloud-native endpoints, AI-enhanced productivity, and automation.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business functions, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • A mindset focused on innovation, service quality, and end user satisfaction.

Desirable:
